June 29 meeting: Help for a mental health crisis
The Dakota County Crisis Response Unit provides 24-hour telephone or on-site response, as well as referrals, to residents in a mental health crisis. A trained mental health crisis responder assesses the crisis and provides services such as:
- Mobile Crisis Response Services
- Residential Crisis Services
- Crisis Stabilization service
Any adult experiencing a mental health crisis can use the crisis response services. On June 29, Brian McGlinn from Dakota County's Community Services Division will speak to us about help available for citizens experiencing a mental health crisis.
