Since October, a dedicate group of Farmington Rotarian mentors – led by the even-more-dedicated Rotarian Jamie Thompson – has met weekly with a remarkable group of seniors from Farmington High School to provide them with tools, resources and support as they move toward graduation and the next phase of their lives. STRIVE – Students Taking a Renewed Interest in Valuing Education – is one of many programs where Rotarians make a difference in the lives of others. It's all about putting service above self.

And now, for the rest of us who haven't been involved with STRIVE, we have the great honor of meeting and recognizing these students and their hard work and achievements when we host them for lunch on April 26 at Celt's in downtown Farmington. Don't miss it. And prepare to be inspired even more than we are on Student-of-the-Month day.

As always, this would be a great meeting to bring a guest and introduce them to Rotary and all we do. But this one will be especially great.
