There has and always will be a need for affordable health care.  Some institutions want to make as much profit as they can while others are out for the well being of the individuals and communities they serve.  We are lucky to have the latter so close to us.

This week we have a wonderful speaker by the name of Heather Tidd that will be coming in to speak with us about with the Dakota Child and Family Clinic out of Burnsville, MN.  Their purpose is to serve patients of all ages from Dakota County and surrounding areas. They do so by providing quality care for everyone, regardless of the ability to pay.
Ramble Jam Committee update!
Is everyone else seeeing Ramble Jam in their eye lids when they go to sleep.  If you are not, it is time to get on the Ramble Jam train!

The big push right now is to get sponsorships.  If you know of any local business, please reach on out to them.  You may not know of a business but I bet your sphere of influence does.  I tell this to everyone I know: "If you never ask, the answer is always no"  It may feel a little uncomfortable the first time you ask for a sponsorship but trust me when I say that it gets a lot easier the more you do it.  If you need a .pdf of the sponsorship packet, please email email and I will be more than happy to email one out to you.

There were some great brainstorming ideas to get the word out about Ramble Jam and raffle tickets.  One of those is getting to other Rotary Club meetings and speading the good word.  We have other Rotary Clubs come in all the time with their fundraisers.  It is now time to return the favor and push hard for the raffle tickets :)  The other item was using our lovely children to get the word out about the raffle tickets.  Synergy sat outside Family Fresh and sold out of their raffle tickets!  It is time to take a page from their book and do the same.  If anyone else has any other great ideas to get these raffle tickets sold, bring them to the meeting on Thursday.

Finally, if you have not been to a Ramble Jam Committee meeting I strongly urge you to attend.  They are informative, fun and I always leave with a smile on my face from the laughs.  As I had said before, it is time to get on the Ramble Jam train!
